The initial positive results were reported at the International Conference on Chinese Medicine in Beijing, 1987 . Currently, the AIDS Project of the Quan Yin Clinic and the Immune Enhancement Project (Berkeley), are conducting formal investigations of immune parameters in such patients who are regularly taking the same ganoderma extracts used by the myasthenia gravis patients in Japan.
